The syntax of english newspaper headlines is often so confusing to me
There is some doctrine in english headline writing that says it’s okay to substitute the word “and” with a comma. I hate it with a passion.
Thats because English is a bit fucked.
I once saw a study on the Reading Grade Level of various newspapers, and some of them were like 7th grade. This was back in mid-2000s. Sicne Internet News exploded, it feels like it’s gotten much worse.
56% of USA reads below a 6th grade level. Newspaper articles are written at a similar level so that more people can read them.
The couch he fucked had a baby couch. This is a thing that happens, it’s just life. Why so hard to understand?
Don’t show any of those kids to a random ice agent without context.
Why not? Why should they get special treatment?
Took me a while to spot JDs mistress in the background, or why there was a 1 painted on her.
Maybe the couch is the first kid? Sex with your kid is one of the principles of the administration, I believe.
For a second I thought the numbers were pointing to loss.
Pattern recognition?
Absolutely, considering the community here. :D
You see son, when a man and a settee love each other very much…
His fucking couch is a child?
No the couch is baby couch after mother couch gave birth, mother committed suicide when she realised JD might still fuck the baby couch
Yes, the loveseat is the offsping from JD’s college lust.
