And so the tariff impacts continues.
My mouse is now worth 25% more?
Suck it, Bitcoin!
Logitech was already overpriced and poor quality.
I still have my Logitech BT mouse from 2005. Still working great. Are their newer products bad?
Thanks conservatives, non-voters, and 3rd party voters.
You’re reaaaaaal smart. Give yourselves a pat on the back.
In the US*
I would be interested to see what other countries are seeing.
Germany
Logitech MX Master 2S from 53.34 €
Logitech MX Master 3S now 75.99 € up from 74 € at the beginning of April.
This is the MX Master 3S from the article (said to be going from 100 to 120$)
80 Swiss francs today, lowest at 62 (80 chf is around 98$).
I use that mouse for work and really like it. I was debating getting one for my home PC, too…
I’ve been using Logitech for decades because it’s Swiss, and good.
At least it was good, since the ‘Logi’ rebrand they started to follow the enshitification road and apparently they are trying to do some mouses with mandatory AI software bits.
Today I’m not sure my next mouse will be a Logitech, but I’ll cross that bridge when I’ll need a new mouse.
they are trying to do some mouses with mandatory AI software bits.
But Logitech software is already terrible.
Depends how they import products. Canada uses a lot of layaways in the US during shipping. There are also big ports in Alaska that are landing spots for items set to enter Canada.
If those are hit, then they will pass those increases to Canadians.
It’s going to be key now to cull the US. But I’m seeing HUGE increases in US only pricing. So yeah, not a good start for that shit hole.
They also increased prices in Canada, by 7-15% afaict.
eg: MX Master 3S went up ~14%, $140 to $160.I’m pretty sure that’s due to rare earth metals and China. All I know is it likely won’t be a blanket increase like most think.
I’m more wondering if corporations are going to corporation and just use the US tariffs as the excuse for globally up the prices.
Sony already did that with the PlayStation didn’t they?
They absolutely will, but no one wants to go alone. First they have to collude, which may already be happening.
Already every commercial I hear on the radio is talking about “tariff pricing”.
So far no, it doesn’t look like it. No one wants anything to do with hiking prices and less to do with the US.
Waiting for a company to loudly raise their prices.
“YEEHAW!! Lord Trump is bravely losing to the Chinese so we’re passing that loss on to YOU!”
If my company was directly impacted by Tariffs, you can bet your ass it would say “Trump Tariff surcharge” right on your invoice.
Canada price is up like the US price, unacceptable.
Because we’re physically attached to those fucking morons, our prices for everything will also go up. I hope every Canadian remembers this.
I hated Canada because of this relationship. I have been asking for a long time for Canada to get some backbone and not rely on the USA for everything. This is finally our time to shine.
I’m just glad i got my computer upgraded before all this tariff shit.
That’s what I did. Bought new processor, graphics card, monitor OLED wide-screen, all last year. I knew this shit was coming. These pieces will last me well past this orange fuck face.
Whew… The F310 is still $19.99.
Had me worried for a second.
If it helps, you can 3D print your own hardware nowadays
Can I 3d print something like the g602 mouse? I can solder components together and do a little programming if need be but designing something like that is way over my head. Not being able to find a replacement for that thing is killing me.
I have no personal experience with it, but you might be interested in this completely open source mouse:
https://github.com/ploopyco/mouse
It looks like you can buy a fully assembled mouse, a build it yourself kit, or do it from scratch with the schematics. Doesn’t come with quite as many side buttons though
Interesting. It’s a start at least.
I need a new one of those little dongles, where can I find the STL?
