  • The sad truth is that the Democrats were never your friend. They treated your existence as political capital, and betrayed you the second it was inconvenient for them

I would call this pink capitalism. Same as meta going from period protections inside men toilets to : “trans identity is a mentql disorder”.

All in all, you can go back to : “ecology without class warfare is gardening” or “feminism without class warfare is personal developement”. Capitalism corupts everything it touches and if you are careless, then you will get alienated

First of all, in a french eye, the democrats are not really leftists, Sanders would be akin to center left (if I rembember correctly).

Second, I cannot do a lot of stuff for americans but try to get people off of american companies that are swearing servitude to trump (meta and X mainly) and I really fear for all of you and hope you can have a way out (state protection, or fleeing the country (maybe as asile seekers)).

Maybe the solution is that everyone become a transgender man so that you can avoid this shitty rule (they seem to be forgotten by the order (lol))

Edit: small note about why the comment about the US democrats being center left. The main leftist party, the socialist party is also nicknamed the social-traitres (as treason) because each time they are in power, we have aggressive liberalisation of the economy, opposite to their fucking name so for a center left, I would not expect anything better

At some point, we, europeans, need to say “fuck off” to the USA, including (maybe as a first thing) all the IT company (I am biased on this one). X, meta are bad for democracy, microsoft is the software b team for 40 years (I don’t remember the source of this quote but I like it, maybe Ed Zitron) and is enshitifying all the software on the os side, Google is doing kt for the web…

But the European Union is also a very bad agreement in favor of the capital mainly. In France, the mandatory market for energy is costing EDF a shit ton of money (it was also implemented very poorly in France), detached worker is wtf(?)… and we are still exploiting all the emerging countries and poor contries that suffer from their ressources…

All in all, the situation is not nices

  • I really need to make my write-up about my nextcloud install. It feature :

    • nextcloud fpm
    • postgresql
    • nginx
    • redis
    • elastic search for full text search (still needs a bit of work1)
    • notify_push
    • collabora (still needs a bit of work 1)

All of it running in rootless podman pod with a dedicated user for the stack. It is all with podman units, and a systemd timer for nextcloud’s cronjobs.

1 means that there is trouble with usermapping. Instead of having my user properly mapped inside the container to run the apps, they use a dedicated one and I dont know hot to correct it and I have been a bit lazy to change it.

    Oskour !
