In Seattle last year, in Capitol Hill, the gayest and only actual leftist region of the city, some idiot Magatards decided to get into an argument with a rastafarian man.

I was having a smoke, saw the pushing and shoving, Maga guys disappear, Rasta man is pissed, wanders across the street.

He says something like ‘Can you believe these shitheads?’ and produces one of their hats.

I happened to have on me the lighter fluid for my zippo. I show Rastaman, he says ‘you know what to do’.

Soaked the thing in fluid, on a dirt patch where a sidewalk tree once was. Burned it.

    I did my part rofl!

Ah, Seattle nightlife can be magical if it doesn’t literally kill you.

Can we get this on a T-Shirt

Side note: Disney could make a killing if they sold shirts with this tagline and the old comic book art of Captain America socking Hitler in the jaw.

Note: fully aware of the irony of this gif, not to mention the wild contrast between the book and film. That being said, the movie is better.

Just for the record the movie was definitely not the same as the book- Heinlein himself was libertarian, though I wouldn’t say it comes across in the book.

(The book setting is definitely fascist, or at the least authoritarian;)

I don’t know which book/movie this is, so I’ll just talk about Jurassic Park instead.

Timmy didn’t do his part to help Dr Grant and Ellie Sattler hold the door from the raptor as Lex fiddled with “a unix system! I know this!”

Timmy just danced like he had to pee.

It’s Starship Troopers. A sci-fi novel that was later adapted into a movie series. Notably the first movie is a parody of the hyper-militaristic, borderline fascist undertones of American style democracy. The book, on the other hand, was popular in the 1960s.

Nazi’s are the biggest losers in history.

They were all like “our people are the best people in the world, no other race comes even close to comparing. And our army is the strongest army in the world with the best equipment imaginable”.

Then they only fought in a single war, and lost. Meaning they are losers by definition.

Want to know the even funnier part?

They were beaten by a combination of diverse countries working together, who let anyone join.

Nazis were literally beaten by diversity and inclusivity. lol

We don’t see women beating up Nazis.

We see SJWs and alt-rightists having shouting matches, few rightists at Gaza protests, and few leftists at Trump rallies (which might be a good thing in the case of the latter 2).

We don’t see women beating up Nazis.

I mean, this is practically iconic

few rightists at Gaza protests, and few leftists at Trump rallies

We saw tons of right-wingers at the Gaza protests. Case in point

Pro-Israel protestors carrying Israeli and American flags on Friday descended on the University of Chicago campus, where pro-Palestinian demonstrators established an encampment five days earlier.

You can find videos of pro-Israel protesters blasting loud music and repetitive screams into encampments at UCLA.

And then there’s the fraternities at Arizona State who raided encampments at Arizona State, shortly before campus police began rounding up Palestinian protesters and dragging them into vans.

The local right-wing brownshirts and their allies in the campus police have tightly coordinated in their efforts to shut down campus protests.

When was this B&W pic taken? The 1980s , or before? and he doesn’t seem to be recoiling.

Idk what’s going on on the campuses or other protests, but it seems to me if the pro-Palestinians are shoved off, it won’t be by a few nazi-punks or Israel-flag-wavers, but by the police, and even they are probably reluctant.

If Biden loses it will be because of this (and yes, he’d deserve it).

if the pro-Palestinians are shoved off, it won’t be by a few nazi-punks or Israel-flag-wavers, but by the police

It’s typically a collaboration between the two. Nazi/Zionist punks move in to start fights with campus protesters. Then cops clear the encampments on the grounds that they’ve become too violent.

Finally, the national media reports on the violent Palestine protests, while implying they’ve been sponsored by Iran or Hamas or Communist China to trick liberals into becoming Antisemitic.

If Biden loses it will be because of this (and yes, he’d deserve it).

It’s never the candidate’s fault. You simply didn’t believe in him hard enough and win enough liberal votes.

Or maybe you’re a fifth columnist foreign-backed plant who secretly wants to see our great nation destroyed.

Hilary would have won if not for Vladimir Putin’s Facebook bot army and Bernie Sanders’s sexist tankies.

Ahhh, yeah, the good ol “kick a nazi, its good!” meme.

Meanwhile in reality, what happens is that little dipshits get angry because people disagree with them, and they immediately call everyone a nazi and start threatening them.

Violence is not the answer, keep talking. (Almost) Nobody is pure evil and most people need a good talking and or listening to toake them see that they’re wrong

Back when I was a youth, nazis used to make it a point to show up where they knew they were not wanted. We actually used to punch nazis with regularity. They started this in the late 70s and by the late 90s were realizing they were outnumbered, and getting their asses kicked. In the situations where they did prevail, initially, was when they lurked about waiting for someone to walk out of a gay club, or a place in which they had gotten kicked the shit out of themselves, and when that person was isolated they would drive up and jump out of their truck and gang beat the person. They called it a boot party, because they would literally stomp the person into the concrete. If you had the misfortune of being a lesbian, that was targeted, you would be raped. However this was getting more, and more, police attention as society started to force the police to investigate crimes against people they saw as less than human.

So they mostly stopped shaving their heads, color coding their boot laces, and tattooing their affiliations/crimes on their bodies, and started shaving their faces, donning suites, and focused on coding their language. They consciously made the decision to move towards a professional appearance, value business acumen, and work on spreading their message in a way that was less offensive to new prospects. While they kept targeting sub-cultural groups for their largely white, disaffected, male populations, they focused on bigger targets. Online video games, with a focus on games like WOW. They embraced social media and worked to make themselves ever more savvy with the use of the internet, and their abilities in media, and public relations.

Are there still boot-boys out there, with their skin heads? Yes, there is still a group that they attract, and those people are valued because they are more likely to be willing to do crime and enact violence. However most of them now are the youtube alt-right.

But yes, kicking the shit out of nazis forces them out places they are not wanted. It worked so well they spent decades transforming the whole movement specifically to avoid as much in person contact with non-nazis as they could.

Are you daft or just trying to appear so?

I’m talking about individuals, not regimes.

The more violent you get, the more violent they get and no-one is talking and shit only gets worse.

We ban all the people with opinions we don’t like because thats much easier than having actual fucking conversations and actually listening to people and trying to understand where they’re coming from and why they have auch opinions.

In short: YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

      Violence is not the answer

The joke of the modern moment is liberals posting edgy “Beat The Nazis!” memes online, then moaning over anyone out in the streets doing actual protests or obstruction efforts or BSD actions must be a bunch of Radical Tankies ruining the movement for the rest of us.

So much of modern politics is just posturing. So, by all means, flex your muscles in your Facebook bio and post AI art of high profile politicians in prison stripes. But for the love of god, don’t actually DO anything. Certainly nothing so radical that a police officer might be inclined to show up and start pushing you around.
