      It’s also getting really tiring having to swap part of my stack every few weeks.

      At least for email I now have it with a custom domain and can more easily switch if that becomes necessary… Changing phone OS is always a pain, even with root&backup solutions.

      This one hurts especially, your customers are people that picked a phone for ethical reasons, they raise ethical concerns, you tell them to go fuck themselves… And I don’t even know with all these things, maybe I could even grudgingly live with a product where they use LLMs “responsibly” or something, but then they always have to go off the rails with the emotional maturity of a 5 year old and how could I trust a company with such a person in charge…

    Sigh… I only switched to e/os/ this year since Google was starting to lock me out of certain apps (I sideloaded basically everything since hell no I’m not using the google play store if I can avoid it). I missed that android encrypts your SD card unless you back it up to pc with a usb cable and lost all my files. I am very hesitant to switch again, but it certainly looks like I unfortunately am going to be forced to in the very near future.

    I really want to get off mr. Bones wild ride… :(
