That is just over $3 today accounting for inflation according to a Bureau of Labor Statistics calculator.
If you kept the quarter, it’s almost $12 of silver today.
Does that weigh more than equivalent pounds of feathers?
of corse, dumass, metal is hevier than feathers, ha ha lok at the dummy
;-)
Sorry, I’m a victim of Texas public education. They tried telling me that both weigh the same, but I already knew that grabity likes to grab the metal more than the feathers, no matter how many you have!
I apologize for being a dum dummy on the Internet, but this is how we lern.
And that was enough to use as downpayment on a new house!
Homemade rice krispy treats are amazing. Even when I used the store brand puffed rice cereal.
Too tempting. I’m not allowed to make them anymore, I ate the tray too quickly.
I miss when Woody Woodpecker was just randomly on stuff.
Shame he was caught at a Freak Off.
Is that Woody Woodpecker??? Wild
He’s an instigator
What a confusing premise. They don’t just make the treats for you to buy. First you purchase their products, then mail them proof of purchase. Then they refund you 25 cents, which you use to buy products needed to make the treats they thought up?
Yes, that’s how capitalism works. Find some way of financially incentivizing a product purchase because a certain percentage of people who try a product will continue to buy it.
Also, 25¢ in 1958 is worth almost $3.00 today. A box of said cereal would have cost around 35¢ in the year of the promo, so this was certainly worth it to do.
That is like 5000 calories. The sugar hangover would be worse than just drinking an equivalent amount of tequila.
Inspiring trump’s campaign strategy.
