Mowing down ICE agents with a vehicle would seem to be a reasonable act of self defense at this point if I were a juror. They were using their weapons as weapons, after all.

You know what gets me? I live in China. A literal brutal dictatorship. And CHINESE COPS are less feared here than ICE is in the USA. (And better trained, better disciplined, and generally better human beings. Which itself should be a shock.)

Also you know actually taking in people you mean to instead of accidentally detaining legal US citizens for months to years at a time to the point the courts are forced to intervene.

If you’re an extrajudicial enforcement officer who’s willing to kidnap civilians and place them in an internment camp, you do not deserve the benefit of the doubt, and the fact that you’re standing up for them is honestly sickening.

Back in the days, when something similar happened to the black community during JFK presidency. JFK worked on introducing civil rights act and went on TV to announce it. Now what do we have? The contrast is abhorrent.

ICE have regularly not dressed as police.

It’s perfectly reasonable, when threatened by masked gunmen to try and exit the situation quickly. If they then step in front of the vehicle, then they put themselves in a dangerous situation, not the driver.
Most of us could easily see ICE approaching the car aggressively, completely unmarked. When the driver tried to get away, they then step in front and shoot, since they are “weaponising their vehicle” continuing to drive.
There’s a reason the police wear uniforms to clearly identify themselves.

The thing is, there is video evidence from multiple angles showing that “trying to run them over” isn’t what happened in most of the cases I have looked at.
There’s only one logical reaction if they’re going to shoot us either way…
