One of the creepiest-looking animals I’ve ever run across while out on the trails photographing has to be this–oh wait…no, it’s just a picture of a very normal- looking swimming beaver turned sideways. 😉
Have to admit though it creates a strange face with that reflection and rotated…sorry* for any nightmare fuel.

That’s some quality accidental eldrich horror you got going there!
It’s a hunter who kills the prey by screeching at it and making its blood freeze.
The screech causes oscillation in the blood and the platelets start clotting as a result. The prey doesn’t get far thereafter and can be feasted upon.

Like a kind of horse, but one that is a predator and has the eyes pointing forward.
Awesome!Good call on the forward eyes. I think I’m throwing off by the lack of eyelashes. Eyes are def uncanny in the originally presented version.

Then I had to rotate the image and was trying to make sure I got the right end up!

I’ve enjoyed all of your participation, and it’s not like you’re forcing me to do something I didn’t want to do.
My only issue is my algorithm mainly recommends me birds… and insects for some reason. I need more mammals, and maybe fish/sea life. Sea life would probably be good, as even though they are mostly commonplace ones, the Fed does have a lot of mammal comms.
