Red used to be my favorite color. Then I worked at Target years ago and it’s been teal ever since.

But I will fight you over pastels, at least in watercolor.

    Red.

It’s so loud, obnoxious and in your face, I hate it.

It’s only somewhat acceptable on very small things, tiny accents etc.

And I have a theory hear me out: no car in the world looks the best in red, there is always another color that looks better. Yes, even Ferraris and Alfas. Prove me wrong.

Have you seen the Chinese parliament?

      Chinese parlament wide view

Which looks beautiful at wide angle like this with the ceiling and all but IRL what you would be seeing is this:

      Chinese parlament narrow view

      Straight eye aneurism lmao

1000%. Ever seen a Ferrari in a sky blue? Shit rocks way harder than red. In GT7 my friend and I painted a 512 to be full carbon and that thing looks incredible.

The only exceptions where it at least looks pretty decent are Miatas and other small cars like Minis Fiat 500s.

    LAVENDER fuck lavender
hate it get some saturation the matter with you

edit: oh no sorry beige, fuck you get some hue as well. Why they keep making baby clothes these rank desatured hues is beyond me. If you’re in a store you can clearly see at what age/size children start to choose their clothes as well from the sudden color explosion.

There’s a lot of cars driving around now that seem to be clay coloured. That’s the colour I hate, the blend nothing colour.

Who goes to the dealership and says I want my car to be the colour of I washed out clay landscape on a rainy day in the Arctic circle?

my least favorite is approximately #e3ff00

also i dislike grays becsuse they’re in so many places they have no business being in, gray is too overused.

i love cyan, light bluish green and turquoise. purple is fine too, pink is ok. weird yellow green is not a good color.

I used to love grey. And then sometime in the mid-2000’s, automakers decided that they loved it too. And every damn vehicle on the road was grey.

Then, we got a new CEO at work. And he thought our facilities needed a refresh, but shouldn’t look “institutional”.

So every damn surface was painted grey with a darker shade of grey for the trim. It felt like I was working on a WW2 battleship. In black and white.

Now I can’t fucking stand it.

Shouldn’t look too institutional so he went with grey? I associate grey with institutions so heavily. It’s cubicle color.

That said, I’m a huge fan of the old great society era government building style

When light gray is used for a background to call it a “dark theme”, instead of just going #000000
