As the article states, the inclusion of the nudes in the newsletter allows a very clear path for criminal charges in D.C. and Georgia under their respective revenge porn legislation. She should receive charges for both.

In any sane world, a member of congress would be immediately expelled for presenting literal nudes, without permission and in bad faith, of a sitting POTUS’ family member, who is not, nor has ever been a member of the administration or government employee.

Congratulations to Vladimir Putin and the CCP, as your work to dismantle the U.S. through propaganda and mainstreaming batshit tinfoil-hat insanity through promoting these ridiculous, unserious elected officials like Greene, Paul, Jordan, Comer, Gaetz, Santos, et al, has been incredibly effective.

Having the prosecution recommend not pressing charges isn’t exactly the same thing as the crime literally not happening. That’s a bit of an assumption.

If I can make at least 3 assumptions, based on what you’ve said here, do you think OJ was a murderer?

Your link does not support your claim that it never happened. It does not even address the question of whether or not it happened, the quality of the evidence available, or the reasons why charges were not recommended. You are clearly reading into this article. Why? Bet you don’t even know.

According to the article the supposed witnesses were garbage. Even the prosecution thought their testimony wouldn’t hold up in court.

Somehow I have to prove a negative, to prove innocence, and yet somehow the parent commenter can make unfounded accusations without proof and be considered legit, worthy of updoinks? You people are in a delusional echo chamber. What a joke of a forum this is.

I think the article below it is funnier

“Joe Biden had the largest public investment in social infrastructure and environmental programs, that is actually finishing what FDR started, that LBJ expanded on, and Joe Biden is attempting to complete,” Marjorie Taylor Greene said at the conservative Turning Point Action conference over the weekend. Except … she meant it all as an insult?

Two jewish men are sitting on a bench in Israel reading newspapers. One of the men, reading a newspaper in Hebrew, notices the other man is reading a newspaper in Arabic.

“My friend,” he exclaims. “How can you read that trash! Don’t you know its all lies?”

The other man puts down his paper and replies, “I used to read your newspaper and I’d get depressed. Its all bad news. Now I read this paper and it makes me happy. We run all the banks, we run Hollywood, soon we will take over the world!”

So Republican men are obsessed with penises, and apparently Republican women are as well.

Democrats should be turning the GOP into a laughing stock with this situation. Making some innuendo jokes about “like father like son” to imply that Joe is hung like a horse, or make some jokes implying MTG isn’t getting any at home, so she’s lusting after some Democratic sausage. Basically make it very humiliating for Republicans to continue to push this issue.

Unfortunately, as usual, I just don’t see them doing it. There might some jokes being made online, but Democrats as a party don’t seem to really be attacking the GOP on this with dirty, underhanded attacks.

Turning your opponent into a joke is one of the best methods of attack, especially in cases where the threat is very serious. War propaganda the world over characterizes a nation’s enemy as some bumbling idiot. Hogan’s Heroes, the TV show, did a great job at portraying the very serious issue of Nazis and made them look like a joke. Democrats are so bad at marketing and going after their opponents though that they’ll never do anything.

It’s crazy to me that anyone can be ok with someone sharing nudes of someone who did not consent. They’re both adults at this point but it’s literally the president’s son, too. I’m not big on appeals to authority but maybe a modicum of respect for a politicians family insofar as not sharing naked photos of them?

And the response so far is that she can get away with it. So it continues to be normalized.

The people who dismiss her as “just a dumbass” - whether she’s doing this because she’s literally insane or because she’s been told to - recognize the lasting damage this type of behavior is inflicting.

What’s crazier is that the same people who scream “the liberals are exposing our kids to sexually explicit content” because a book has two gay characters hold hands are perfectly fine with the nude photos being sent to everyone. If a gay kiss lasting two lines is enough to cause screams of rage, why aren’t actual nude photos being emailed to everyone resulting in screams?

Of course, the answer is that they don’t care as long as the nude photos “own the libs.” (So Hunter nudes are okay, but Ivanka nudes would be outrageous.) If showing kids an explicit video of two guys having sex would somehow “own the libs,” then the right would suddenly be all for kids seeing that sexually explicit content.

They couldn’t summon up enough evidence and no one involved would testify. The girl involved now has an Only Fans page, so even if she offered, the prosecution felt that would hurt her credibility. So it’s dropped.

She should become a sex offender for this. Any normal person would get sentenced to prison if they did this, yet somehow i don’t think she’ll get in any real trouble for this.

What the fuck can we do about this? I’m so sick of seeing powerful people get away with all types of crimes every single day while there are regular people serving 30 year sentences for getting caught with some weed.

We are past the point where we should be revolting. I don’t think we should resort to violence, but we should put our collective foot down.

We have all the power. This country’s economy would grind to a screeching halt if we stopped showing up for work. We need to make some demands and stop contributing until they are met. Accountability for the powerful should be among those demands. I also say we demand the ability to pay for housing, goof, and health care by working a full time job. If we don’t have those bare minimums, then what are we even doing?

I have little doubt that MAGA republichudism was wholely responsible for the KKKonvoy rallies that cost the Canadian economy literally billions of dollars in a matter of days with their illegal blockades.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t quote one of my favorite saved comments from that-content-aggregator-which-shall-not-be-named…

    Dude grow up…

    We did it with smallpox

    We did it with polio

    We did it with measles

I’ve got an “almost” centenarian in the family. Dude grew up watching German zeppelins on the front line of invasion, his folks were both mostly bald from the Spanish flu. When he immigrated to Canada (on a boat) he had to get another round of vaccinations even though he had the full onslaught in the army while babysitting German POWs as they removed landmines from the beaches of his home country. Ask anyone 75+ how many of their childhood friends died from what are now preventable diseases.

If you think the shit were taking now is untested, what the hell do you think they were handing out back in the 20s and 50s…

Have you ever traveled abroad? Like not to London, or Tokyo or somewhere nice… But to somewhere shitty like Bangladesh, Nigeria, or Guinea? Do you have any idea how many people die in these countries every year from preventable diseases? You do know that even as a Canadian you legit cant board an aircraft in or out of these places without at the VERY least a yellow fever card right? Before vaccines it was pretty common for a boat to have to sit for a few weeks in quarantine at the destination before people were allowed to disembark… This is not new, this is not unique, this is not something to fuck around with.

Sit down, shut up, and take your medicine you spoiled little shit.

Since you brought up ship quarantine, I think we should start doing that with air travel. It’s the number one long-range transmitter of pandemics. It’s the enabler of global pandemics.

Quarantine-free air travel should perhaps be treated as a privilege of living in a civilization with advanced medicine and monitoring, a privilege that could be revoked mid-flight for all flights in any given region, like the entirety of Europe.

This would really be more like non-consensual sexual nudity… Potentially sent to minors who might unexpectedly be exposed to it (presumably) without their or their parents’ or guardians’ consent.

Accidental or not, my understanding is that the reason she was sharing the photos to begin with was because she believed there was something “scandalous”, embarrassing, and specifically sexual going on in the photos.

Despite your edit, from what I can tell of being born and raised in the USA, there isn’t really a concept of non-sexual nudity, outside of locker rooms/campsite bathouses, some restrooms, and of course, nudist communities/beaches.

Even just taking a leak somewhere that is somewhat secluded if there are no restrooms can land someone a public urination and maybe an indecent exposure charge.
