Having a kid is hard. Like super hard - the warnings do not adequately prepare you. I think you should do whatever allows you and the baby to make it to the next day, week, month. For me, I took all the help I could get as soon as possible. I had people over the day we came home from the hospital (they brought us food). 🤷
Good on her for being vocal about a topic she cares about and affects millions of people - even if she is a celebrity.
Each of you should cook for yourself. Our family tried to fight it for years, but everyone is happier with their own food and own time to eat. From time to time, cook a food she likes or bring her McDonald’s as a treat for both of you.
Coffee and a shower. Not usually at the same time, but sometimes things happen. 😉

This work style suits me as well. I have always preferred jobs that reward outcomes and offer true flexibility. Sometimes I work a lot. Sometimes I log off at 2pm and nap. But it isn’t right for everyone.
It does have a gender neutral ring to it. Like Jamie or Madison.
My boys did the cleaning and my husband is doing the cooking this year. I’m reading on the couch and offer support (if directed) from time to time. THIS. IS. THE. BEST. If you don’t do it for the next gen, do it for yourself.

Anything that is directly delivered to my house. I have so little time, getting to the grocery store is a real challenge - and makes paying for delivery well worth it
There is certainly some overt oppression going on, but what gets me is being treated like my existence is to support men (take notes, get coffee, schedule meetings, look pretty, manage the family, smile, be helpful, cook, clean, etc.). I’d rule the fucking world if even 25% of the population existed for me this way.

You get to do whatever you want with your money, but a business advertising is a really weird hill to die on. There are terrible small businesses and good established businesses. I think it is worth doing some extra research to find the nuance.
