  • I loved reddit. I used it every day, all day. I didn’t need friends IRL, I was talking to the world on Reddit. I did the thoughtless one liner quips that make it all the way to the top comment. I wrote insightful contributions with source citations that users love. I was a great contribution. And they dumped me. I loved reddit and they broke up with me because I wouldn’t switch to their god awful new app after using the same better app for 13 years of joy. I didn’t dump them, they dumped me because they are fucking morons.

I don’t go back there. They dumped me and I got the message that I wasn’t wanted. I am forever scorned. They ruined our relationship because they’re idiots. I didn’t want to leave. They wanted me to leave. Now I wish they were dead. I hope they die. I hate reddit. Fuck reddit in the ass to death times infinity.

  • “Nowhere has the federal government clarified the basis for suspecting — not even confirming with any level of certainty — the listed individuals are non-citizens. And as one court recently noted, the federal government’s citizenship records are ‘known to be unreliable,’” Weber wrote, referring to case brought against the Justice Department by the organization Common Cause. “To give just one example, in a similar incident in the State of Nevada, DHS initially alleged that Nevada’s voter roll included nearly 16,000 potential non-citizens. However, after working with the State of Nevada, DHS officials failed to establish that a single non-citizen was on the voter rolls.”

The burden of proof is on the federal government. Show us something to substantiate the claims or go pound sand.

  • Ahh… old school still voting at the polling place in person. That is becoming rarer.

More people seem to walk their vote-by-mail ballots to the polling place than actually vote there, at least in my county. I am personally a big advocate of sending the ballot in early so that it’s easier to count the ballots, instead of the county receiving hundreds of thousands of ballots in one week. But voting in person is easier to count than vote-by-mail ballots (at least in my county - I’d dread thinking about how things are done up in Shasta).

Do you plan on doing any reading about the props or candidates prior to arriving? or will you walk in, and then spend time figuring out how you are going to fill out the ballot?

My county gives me a sample ballot in the county voter guide. I love filling that out, and then filling out my official ballot by copying the sample ballot.
