  • I do not think so. xebec’s family (percievably) did not resist it. my guess is it depends on how strong your will (haki) is. seemingly only xebec is the one who could even resist.

I believe haki is the answer to about every devil’s related power. You must be right. IMO Davy clan was kind of the last living people knowing about Imu and other secrets. But only a few of them are born real fighter like Xebec, being able to carry their ancester’s will.

(most of these are community beliefs). No, current idea is basically D are all families (monkey, trafalgar, nefertari, etc) who were with davy/joyboy in the lost century. I am not sure what part/page you are refering to. roger (and garp) was basically non present in this chapter except for last 2 pages.

My confusion comes from this panel 227222

My impression is that Roger is awakening / using some strong haki, and Imu seems to feels it comes from a Davy clan member.

Until now, Imu seemed to use the name of the First born of a lineage to call their heir. So, from what I understood from that panel, I thing having common lineage for the different clans of D. crossed my mind.

I never expected it to be a letdown. but i certainly did not expect to get GV so soon or so good. i expected it to be on par with or slightly succeed marineford. currently, (imo), we are even past that.

I agree, GV is above Marinford. And we haven’t it all yet. I’m eager to see this fight, how GW disappear, and why the people that saw Imu never talked about it before.

I mean, Big Mom, Kaido, Garp and White beard never talked about it before…

  • Sooooo, Davy’s clan is the natural enemy of IMU. They all know about domi reversi and it seems they know a way to resist it, but Xebec wasn’t ready for it.

All D. are Davy’s descendant ? Is it the haki from roger that IMU confuses for Davy’s ? Or is it the power Xebec uses to appear before him ?

Damn, I never hoped god valley would be this intense. I feared it would be a letdown, but… Damn !!!

  • I’m running CalyxOS. You shouldn’t for now as they are in a pause until further notice. I’m too lazy to change my OS now and change back when they release their new version (still hoping the new version to come around January ).

Also, I always find that the others have drawbacks that disturb me:

    • lineageOS : can’t lock the bootloader, which can be a security issue (but quite limited). It can prevent some applications to work.

    • /e/OS : their app store is a mix between the aurora store and f droid, but it can not add fdroid repos ( no izzyondroid, or other specific repos). So f droid is needed, but I had some conflict with the updates. A lot of their app are just open-source app with another icon and name (e.g : maps is magic earth) they are system app that cannot be remove easily. And their “maps” gave me trouble back then to use it with android auto.

    • iodeOS : I had trouble installing it with their installer, I insisted and installed it on top of lineageOS. To use their full ad/tracker blocker you have to pay a monthly fee, which is fine to support them, but I would have loved to be able to test it before having to pay. I lost a bit of confidence when I saw on their site that android auto worked, but after install, I was unable to use it. (It was last year, AA should work now)

With calyxOS, 99% of what I need is working and I do not have much system app I do not use. I use "personalDNSfilter to block ads and trackers. I guess that IodeOS is the only one in this list that let you use a VPN in addition of their blocker, as their blocker work on a DNS level not a VPN one.

As Calyx has android auto working (all of OS should have it now), and I found stub that make it possible to use AA without Maps, Google app and TTS from google, I’m happy. I tried my bank app to pay with the phone, it didn’t work with calyxOS, it is a minor problem for me, and I do not know if it works on other OS. If Calyx pause is longer than expected, I might give Iodé another run.

As all these ROM use the same backup tool, it should not be too troublesome to test them without loosing much data or time.
