Is it the most UK town?
WHEN I THINK ABOUT THE BRITISH EMPIRE AND SEE SIGHTS LIKE THIS I THINK “WHERE DID ALL THE WEALTH YOU STOLE GO?”
The aristocracy are all still obscenely wealthy, and the descendants of people who died in the mines and factories and foreign soil to fuel the Empire’s demand for war material and men are still caught in debt traps and poverty struggling to survive.
It’s one of those weird things where global north countries are practically re-importing their own imperialist wrath on their “own people”.
I hope enough British youth don’t stand for this and realize that their aristocracy quite literally committed unforgivable atrocities for only the aristocracy, which only means everyday Britons have to be left holding the bag and be smeared as the bad guys too. All British zoomers have to show for the empire is an embarrassment they largely do not deserve.
not into improving public spaces, that’s for sure
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a naval ship
And you may find yourself in a beautiful palace, with a beautiful queen
And you may ask yourself, “Well, how did I get here?”
there’s way more bri ish than that
Honestly it’s aesthetically unpleasing but I once lived in similar housing that had more open fenced yards to each other and it takes like one neighbour who sucks ass for it to become unusable. I get where they’re coming from here.
Should’ve just been like a communally owned greenspace honestly, that alleviates a lot of the “my property is my fiefdom” psychopaths
I’m still shocked that Jack The Ripper managed to kill a woman in those backyards without anyone knowing
dog made of meat in a weird way is about to run out from around that corner and kill me
Love the walkable streets
Abandonedhighstreetcore is my aesthetic
well hey, at least there are no hideous leafy green trees blocking the view of the soulless buildings
Very North Korean-esque. You can see the Jongian influence
walkable enough that I am jelly from KKKanadian suburbia
Who is Beth and why they want me to dig them??
Idk this seems pretty British
