    Chinese people are generally deeply xenophillic in my experience, foreigners in non-foreign filled towns are usually seen as neat oddities. My perspective may not be hollistic, but that was what I experienced with friends of many different nationalities.

      Yeah I’ve been to China and except one instance where a cop asked to see my passport and was a little rude, no one in China expressed xenophobia to me. They’d ask polite questions about where I’m from if they spoke enough English.
