My answer to this depends on the day. Some days, my favorite part is that I’m pretty, even if I’m not fully passing yet. Like, even with some of my relatively masculine facial details, I am still pretty and that’s cool. Loving who I see in the mirror will never get old.
Other days, it’s that I’ve learned how to smile - actually smile - instead of hating myself and feeling despair. Bonus points: that helps with being pretty.
Yet other days, it’s that I’m intelligent (or so I’m told; I tend to think of myself as clever more than that). Holding lots of details in my head and solving problems in a software system or a card game or a new topic of interest or a mechanical problem on my car; I feel comfortable that I can wrap my head around anything if I try.
realizing I’m a cutie patootie no matter if I’m wearing the comfiest stuff or the textbook meangirl attire
I love both and I love my body :3
I have naturally wide hips and a narrow waist. I used to hate looking “womanly” but now I love how fitted shirts and dresses look since I’ve learned to tailor my clothes.
I like my body and mind. I like that I finally found out how to love myself. I like that I am brave. It’s taken a lifetime of work but I’m now a certified baddie.
Awesome, well done!
Thanks! I’m old! 😂
Me too, that doesn’t mean it’s any easier ;-)
I love you. 💖
Usually I have to tie someone up before I get that sort of declaration!
But that’s very sweet - I love you too! <3
Hey, I mean. 🫣
Hahaha!
That’s okay honey, I only tie people up who want it ;-)
My legs are pretty fricken awesome … ever since I broke my leg badly, and it took a year and a half to be able to walk without support, I’ve really appreciated them.
They take me places with only occasional discomfort, they look good, and they go all the way up :-)
(I can’t run or kneel for long, but hey, can’t have everything)
I’ve always been a positive and happy person. I’m currently stuck in a bad patch, so I am finally maybe starting to appreciate my sad side. I know every storm passes so right now maybe my perseverance mixed with some letting myself stop and saviour darkness. It’s an odd combo, they almost compete.
My sense of justice and compassion
i really like my hair. i’m not the best at taking care of it or styling it (i’m learning!)… but i still like how thick, curly, and orange it is. my hair is cool
