minus-squareCodpiece@feddit.uklinkfedilinkarrow-up33arrow-down7·2 days agoNo I didn’t. A good vet could still revive that.
minus-squarebreadsmasher@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up14arrow-down8·2 days agoill try again. heres a cooked-rare steak. you can even go to blue, which is less cooked than rare.
minus-squaredaannii@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·6 hours agoTechnically you can eat beef raw. With minimum risk. I knew of two women who told me they craved raw hamburger while pregnant. Yeah it’s not recommended but it’s not like chicken salmonella or pork that’s generally full of parasites.

minus-squareCodpiece@feddit.uklinkfedilinkarrow-up24arrow-down6·2 days agoIt’s not cooked. You’ve just burnt the outside a bit. Inside it’s still mooing.
minus-squarebreadsmasher@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up8arrow-down13·edit-22 days agoOk, no point talking to someone who doesnt seem to understand basic cooking. apparently talking about cooking steak makes people seeth.
minus-squarehalcyoncmdr@piefed.sociallinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up14arrow-down2·2 days agoOh you misunderstand. We all know basic cooking. They’re indirectly telling you that you’re wrong and you just aren’t getting it. There are zero cuts on a cow that should be cooked less than medium rare.
minus-squareAlbbi@piefed.calinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up12arrow-down3·2 days agoFrom your link: The United States Department of Agriculture has stated that rare steaks are unsafe to eat.
minus-squaresudoMakeUser@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up4·21 hours agoI agree. Any beef or animals raised in the US are unsafe to eat.
minus-squareSlovene85@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkarrow-up7·2 days agoAnd yet people eat tartar steak 🤷
