Peeing in a pool? No. There’s a reason they go heavy on the chlorine in public pools.

Peeing in a lake? Knock yourself out.

The chlorine is actually another reason why you shouldn’t pee in a pool. That’s how you get deadly, explosive nitrogen trichloride!

(if you want to know more, here is a wonderful video about the chemical by a very nice Australian man who I adore: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV_daaldE_I )

Me, before clicking: “please be E&I… Please be E&I… click as yeah.”

I don’t do chemistry stuff, but damn do I love his videos.

I’m glad the bird that keeps nesting in the shed is okay. (I like to think it’s always the same one)

The solution to pollution is infinite dilution.

Careful! You risk making homeopathic pollution which becomes stronger when you dilute it further.

Same as with rotting corpses and smell. A dead landlord in my living room may stink up the whole house but a dead politician sitting at the far end of an indoor stadium won’t be noticeable.
