    I tried to watch this show again last night, because it’s supposed to be good, and I liked that guy in Shameless. It’s just too intense, not for me.

      I agree mostly, but there are some real gems if you stick with it. (Mild spoiler follows)

      "Forks" is a great episode...

      and a redemption arc for one of the main characters.

        Idk i watched most of it but Forks I got halfway and skipped to the next episode. If the complaint is that the show is too intense, Forks is not the reason to power through.

      Same. Too stressful. It felt like I was back working in a kitchen again, but without the payoff of actually cooking anything or finishing a shift.

        Yes I can see how it could induce PTSD if you’ve lived it, similar to veterans watching war movies I guess. I heard it said that the show did extremely well in representing the stress of working in a kitchen.
