This is the opposite of dull.
What is the cap at? In Edinburgh it is £6 which is pretty fair:
$4 per day, $20 per week, and $64 per month
Man, that’s entirely too good. I spend easy twice as much in gasoline and I only work 7km away from my job, fucking hate the lack of public transportation here.
7km? That’s a 15 minute bike ride
Live in the mountains and with no bicycle infraestructure, would have to cross about 4 major roads with super heavy traffic.
That’s fair, I live somewhere so flat i forget hills exist
I live at over 700 meters of elevation and within 10 minutes I can be at sea level (depends on the driver lmao). Mountains make both public transport and human powered transportation nearly impossible.
Getting a cold and having to go somewhere would be a nightmare haha
Cheap motorcycle is perfect for that (except for winter in places that have it).
I’ll pick one up, nobody uses motorcycles here and I would need some sort of solution for when I need to pick up my kids, but yeah just for me it’s a great solution.
I love how people in UK are so brainwashed that think 6quid is fair. 6 quid is not fair. 2 maybe 3 quids should be maximum and that is for London. Edinburgh should just be free.
Yeah, you are 💯 right, public transport should be free, what was I thinking 🤦♀️
where i live, the transit system is the same. after spending $5.60 a day (2 fare payments), you earn a day pass. after $100 you earn a month pass valid for the rest of the month
Merriam Webster:
Buses is the preferred and standard plural for the vehicles, while busses is considered rare or incorrect.
Although busses was sometimes used before the 1960s, buses is now the widely accepted spelling in both American and British English.
Preferred: Buses (vehicles)
Alternative: Busses (rare, sometimes mistaken for the verb “buss,” meaning to kiss)
I prefer bussies.
I prefer trains
Bussin’
I’ve also seen busses used in the context of audio engineering
Fuck that
I once had the same with an electric scooter sharing service, I mean the big Vespa-style scooters. I rode around Budapest for a whole evening afterwards, went across the Chain Bridge in formation with a super nice German bike club on choppers.
