Russia’s share of EU imports of pipeline gas dropped from around 40% in 2021 to around 6% in 2025.

In January 2026, the Council adopted a regulation to prohibit both LNG and pipeline gas imports from Russia starting from 18 March 2026, with transition periods for existing contracts. By the end of 2027, all Russian gas imports will be prohibited.

That’s my point, America isn’t offering you Russia, we’re the ones who cut you off them by literally blowing up your pipelines so you have to buy ours instead. Yall got yourself onto Russian gas, likely because 1. Theirs was the cheapest due to proximity and 2. yall thought you’d have more leverage with Russia than America or China.

I cannot even understand properly what exactly he tries to tell. Who is the “we”, that bombed the pipelines?

You think its tinfoil to say the US blew up the Russian pipeline, as reported by Seymore Hersh, and that this had the effect of making Europe less dependent on Russian imports, and [more dependent on US imports](https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=67224#%3A~%3Atext=Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,%25 of U.S.-origin volumes.)?

This isn’t even controversial. Whats the alternative, that Russia bombed their own pipeline used to supply Europe, and this hasn’t benefitted US energy exports to Europe?

This begins to make slightly more sense when you apply the logic that tin foil, while deflecting whatever external conspiracy waves, would reflect the interior ones back down. 🤌🏼

we’re buying fracking gas from the nazi USSA
      so much better.
We got a lot of Russian gas in the Mediteranean tho.
And I say in the Mediteranean literally.
61 000 tonnes of it and 900 tonnes of fuel, from the civilian tanker blown up by the ukroterrorists.
But hey that was only news for one day and we can keep the huge ecological disaster quiet.
Nobody knows it broke and partially blew up last week.
I bet journalists can find some other BS to write about in our free and democratic west.
