Perfect is the enemy of good
For four generations we’ve been associating tolerance, respect and community with childish cartoon characters; something to be outgrown.
I got about as much tolerance left as Bugs Bunny.
You are probably on to something here. We shouldn’t have tolerated everything. We shouldn’t have entertained their conspiracy theories or gave them a seat at the table at all.
