      They could also just have one of the big breeds like a skogkatt or a Maine coon which can easily get a lot heavier than that without being unhealthy at all

        I had a huge cat once that was 18lbs, but he was legit the size of a smol human.

          Flame point Persian checks out those fuckers are huge we had a 21 lb male growing up. He wasn’t even fat he was just huge.

          Was always silly watching the 6 lb tabby sleep with him.

            Also own a 21lb cat. He is just big. But also a little overweight.

            He’s on a diet with automatic feeder, but he has massive food anxiety. (We found him as a starving kitten) So we can only reduce his intake to the point of maintaining weight. If we restrict it too much, he stresses out and overgrooms himself to the point of bleeding 😔
