It also has land access and fresh water supply to Crimea, a huge amount of chernozem soil, and the homes of ten million people. There’s heaps of valuable stuff there

They’re also countries with extremely low wages and fairly large English-speaking populations

Ahh fuck I was trying to hold off on buying anything new

“Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group” is explicitly included in the UN convention on genocide

This seems like a fun idea, if gimmicky. Good for flashy stage shows. I am very suspicious about this article, the manufacturer’s website, and the e-ink screen manufacturer’s website all having no videos of it though. The whole point is it changing rapidly, wouldn’t they want to show that?
I can’t believe an architect would do anything to make a building look nice, what a filthy deception
Wir essen Kosmoskost Wir lesen Kosmospost Wir trinken Kosmosmost Und wir sind bis oben hin so voll!
Oooooh that does look good. Thank you!

No games for me this weekend since I’m gonna be away from home, but that’s certainly far from the worst reason
Like you I don’t have a tonne of opinions on summons due to not using them, but I do occasionally call them in if it’s an NPC I just particularly like anyway. Seeing Melina ready to fight Morgott was a cool surprise, and then seeing her moveset only made it an even bigger surprise
But I mean it has to be Igon. I know that’s an incredibly obvious answer but I’m firm in the belief that it’s obvious because Igon is just that great
I’m away to Amsterdam for a few days! First time I’ve been able to go abroad in quite a while and I’m really looking forward to it. The weather is due to be pish, but we’re all well-trained for that

Just to back this up, I combined this map with OSM to show where Moscow is

Yeah I’m going with not-AI as well. The letters are all letters from the original Scholar of the First Sin subtitle rearranged, the weird-looking ones being modified in some way or another

For the Northern Ireland one it’s a particularly messy question to answer because the attacks were not all working towards the same goal. Pro-UK paramilitaries were a huge part of the Troubles, it wasn’t just pro-independence paramilitaries vs the British army

Beslan and Moscow are both off the eastern edge of the map

Could be! I suppose we’ll find out some time next summer

The opposite of that, surely? They’re saying it’s rectangular
I think brochs are actually quite significantly too recent for this site, though. They’re primarily an iron age thing, while the other structures at Ness of Brodgar are a good couple of thousand years even older than that

Such a tease! I won’t pretend to be an expert on neolithic Orcadian architecture by any means, but the bit about the straight lines and rectangular forms is clearly significant. As I understand it there’s an ongoing discussion about whether the two material cultures known from this period (Unstan ware and grooved ware) coexisted or if the grooved ware evolved out of the Unstan ware. Maybe this find has some clues towards that?
My backstory is 12 pages, but I wrote it in very big letters and I used chalk and smudged it quite a lot
Oh damn, that’s a full self-dox. I’m gonna report this just for the sake of maybe getting it down sooner, since OP is likely asleep right now
