Not only that, he has been president before, so he did it before. There is no possible excuse.
This is just bizarre. What fucking universe were they living in, before the election? Because as far as I’m concerned, Trump is now doing exactly what everyone expected him to do.
Except for these clowns. Somehow, they’re fucking surprised that he did exactly what he said he was going to do.
I got the feeling they painted their own image of Trump, and then they believed in their own painting. They inserted their own expectations of what Trump would do despite Trump never talking about it.
Oh Trump did talk about it though, he was always making promises like ‘fighting inflation’ or ‘deporting the hardcore criminals’ - it’s just that to anyone with a working brain it was all obvious pandering lies.

They got exactly what they voted for. It is just that their brains are entierly made up of worms and their spines are jello.
They basically pumped up Trump because it made them more popular, kind of following their audience zeitgeist.
And now that he’s unpopular (to a degree), they’re backing off thanks to their lack of spine.
Plus several subjects like Epstein were very much brought up all the time, and the administration has done a 180 on those. So either the podcasters bank on their audience short span of attention or keep on working on the same subjects that increased and loyalized their following.
