I have a family of stuffed sloths that have their own furniture and clothing that I treat as family and talk to.

    I’m in my forties.

We queer the kid/adult binary by thinking it’s completely ridiculous and behaving how we want whenever we like 🙂.

Though more in the fun direction than the throwing tantrums direction.

Edit: However, this does help us understand how difficult it is for children as we never lost that connection to them in our emotional/psychological core and thus we don’t mistreat them like most adults around us do.

I’ve moved a WHOLE LOT in my life, so most things that I’d collected at any stage got left behind (or in the case of my European playing cards of various sorts, mysteriously vanished) over the years.

Now that I’m in a stable place for over two decades, the things I collect are weirder, like Daoist charms and the like.

If I’d had a normal life, I’d probably still have stuffed animals from my childhood, though. I get very sentimental over things, especially gifts.
