My company acquired another company. In a management meeting I watched a manager from the acquired company just go scorched earth on calling out the hypocrisy and double talk from my companies C-suite. Absolute career suicide in front of everyone. I mean, dude was right and that entire executive team has been fired since, but it was amazing watching this guy go kamikazi calling it all out publicly.

Not even an hour later, still in the same meeting, the termination notice from HR is in my inbox. Absolute. Fucking. Legend.

Most people won’t remember it, but in the early 2000’s there was a guy who was in a bunch of really popular computer commercials. He had the catchphrase “dude you’re getting a dell”. His commercials were great and he was funny. He got caught trying to buy weed in Manhattan and his career was immediately over. He went from being a recognizable face and almost breaking into movie roles to being completely unemployable. All over a bag of weed.

Haven’t seen Will Smith working in anything. Is he dunzo?
