Most people won’t remember it, but in the early 2000’s there was a guy who was in a bunch of really popular computer commercials. He had the catchphrase “dude you’re getting a dell”. His commercials were great and he was funny. He got caught trying to buy weed in Manhattan and his career was immediately over. He went from being a recognizable face and almost breaking into movie roles to being completely unemployable. All over a bag of weed.

Also there’s the issue of h2o2 introducing oxygen to the wound. So while yes, some bacteria may be killed, you are encouraging others to grow. “Bacteria” isn’t a single thing. It’s a whole ecosystem. It’s like, ok great you killed all the wolves. Now we have bears.
This is how the garbage pickup worked when I lived in Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. It was like $$1 each for small bags, $2 each for big bags. I think they recently switched from the blue bags to stickers. It was a nice system. My wife and I produced far less waste than a large family and we paid less.
Ironically, where I live now is completely on the opposite side of the spectrum. Garbage pickup is included in local taxes and they take anything. They take couches and large things. If I put something heavy out there I’ll leave a tip for the guys.
