The premise reminds me of the story Gravity, by Hal Clement. Humans visiting a very high gravity world with very odd inhabitants.
“tremendous strength”
has arm proportions of a spaghetti noodle
But look at all those pecdominals
Those are solid adamantium.
Tractor or not, humans would be squashed into a pancake.
