We’re living in a time line where each leader, when faced with the choice of leading or dictating, they dictate with their ego. Leaders feel a responsibility to those in their charge. Dictators only want to be in charge.
The Musks and Huffmans of the world are pissing up the wall onto the thing that their business is based upon. Good work, dummies.

File under CaptainObvious. Why do people act so surprised about this stuff? Reddit is no different than any corporation. It’s a huge busines and huge businesses do not care about their employees or customers. They say they do for PR purposes, but the reality is that they only care about money.
In Reddits case they are gearing up for their IPO so they are also putting a spin on the situation to give the share holders more confidence. In the end though only they know the real numbers. Bottom line is that people need to stop acting like these companies owe them something or care about them. This isn’t a mom and pop donut shop down the street.
