The vast majority of moderation is automated. Facebook handles such a large amount of traffic that they can automate 99% of it and still employ dozens of moderation teams full time.

This is a really good read on the topic of AI weaponization by NATO countries, for surveillance and censorship. Pretty sure I found it posted on Hexbear dot net a few years ago.
