Yep. Honestly it isn’t even a bad premise, those kids are a pretty good sci-fi setting that (to my knowledge) is very original. However I feel like it kinda stole too much space to the main reason anyone would watch an Alien series : the actual alien.
A series just about the hybrids and the corporations coulda been cool if it was thoughtfully done. But you’re right, all anyone would have done is gripe that there weren’t any xenomorphs.
