I pay for premium lite to support the creators I watch.
Storing and serving videos is expensive, they have to pay for it somehow. Either you pay directly or someone else pays for you (through an Ad). I don’t see why this is inherently a problem.
I can see arguments on if the specifics are a problem with how they’re going about it, but the fundamentals make sense.

I’m here for the notification. I also want to know.

Overall I am very happy with companies interacting with and funding the open source development community. I respect framework a whole lot more than dell, for example.
That shows intiative. He’s capable of savescumming for the company’s benefit.
I wish you the best, ladies!

Ah, thankfully I didn’t run into that one. I have a goxlr and they broke it for 2 weeks so I did a manual rollback until it was fixed, because having audio is kinda nice.
Yeah, that’s me comfortably sitting on Bazzite right now. There are definitely ways for it to improve, but I’ve only really ever had one issue in the last few months, and that was fixed the next week. I just get to use my computer, and it’s nice.

PC Gaming@lemmy.world•Jeff Kaplan is sick of hearing you demonize games you weren't going to play anyway: 'Shut the f**k up. No one cares. We don't need to hear that you weren't into it'
1·1 month agoEh, there’s plenty of feedback out there that just bad. Bad in a sense of being misinformed, wrong, or misleading. You ever open up the steam community comments for an update of a popular game? Most comments are just reaction bait, its really not worth reading through and masks any actual genuine feedback.
Will this impact the moon cheese mines?
Hope you’ve had a good one, wife
