are you adding enough water? I had the same issue with my first few rye loaves, added more water than I normally would with wheat flour and it drastically improved.

They won the search engine war by being better at search compared to all the others.

can your next project be to get one of those old multi-disc CD changers, install a rw drive in it and see if you can make a raid array work with it?

I’m sorry, but I had to downvote this post.

thanks for a new comm to subscribe to

I’m just not buying anything new. I need more drive space, but with current prices I’m deleting stuff rather than expanding my storage.
Other than that I’ve just taken up new hobbies like woodworking and homebrewing. I’ve toyed with the idea of tiny arduino type projects but haven’t made the plunge yet.
Honestly, I’d just toss it. Old paint can have all sorts of stuff in it; lead, hexavalent chromium, arsenic, etc.

no idea. They came in a packet that said “udon noodles” and are the same size as all the other packets of udon noodles I’ve ever bought. I can only assume they’re udon noodles.

I can’t sleep
for me the issue isn’t so much the AI usage, but rather the intent behind the project. The reason I stopped browsing /r/selfhosted (and most of reddit) was the huge volume of people announcing their latest github star farming project, usually something that already exists or otherwise re-invents the wheel. The worst ones were the soulseek clones that caused massive disruptions because of their poor implementation of the protocol.
If a project is well written (and maintained) AI assisted coding, then that’s fine. But the problem is that the deluge of pure slop has made separating the two much harder, and thus I tend to assume anything that looks AI assisted is a waste of time.

yeah, they just say “didn’t have time” or just never login at all and say they forgot about it.
I’ve checked to make sure it all functions smoothly outside of my network. I’ve got 200tb of stuff so missing content isn’t really an issue, and there’s overseerr via radarr/sonarr for requesting content that isn’t there already.

“everything” will be on one platform, but you’ll only have half the amount of stuff to watch and it’ll be more expensive.
Before Disney bought 20th Century Fox they released ~15-20 movies per year, since the acquisition it’s down to 3-6 per year.

"Here’s the updated script — it now correctly removes the french language localisation with rm -fr / "

who made you the boss of the English language?
when it’s my turn I’ll declare that software is a countable noun and takes the Insular French pluralisation style of “softsware”

I can’t get any of my friends to use my jellyfin instance. They login once, look around, and then go back to complaining about streaming prices

100% quince cider also tastes delicious

re-read my post and tell me the part where I said anything about having an issue with taking traffic away from reddit. You’ll struggle, because I said nothing of the sort.
My issue is that these posts are universally garbage, they provide nothing in the way of background information, external sources or links that can be verified. Sure, I could block this specific bot account, but they’ve got multiple and do the same shit in other comms and I am a bit tired of playing whack-a-mole.

It’s a bot post, they just take whatever garbage is on reddit and repost it without any attempt at curation.
