If you’re privacy consious, then I would suggest not using anything related to your real life, let alone hobbies, name, birth year. Use completely random words! Tip if you’re pretty privacy consious: Use alias emails and connect those with your main email. I suggest services like AnonAddy, SimpleLogin.

I have 3 gmail accounts which I extremely rarely open or use. Email address of first one is my nickname+birth year. Second one is like a Chinese version of my actual nickname, I guess this could be counted as a pseudonym. Third one is full name+birth year. My Proton Mail email address is a username based on my hobby. My Tuta Mail address is made of completely random words and random numbers.

Those are at least better than porn and OnlyFans

They’re not harming anyone physically. But they are mentally for sure. Many of the young generation are falling to porn and getting addicted to it, and many even get addicted to the point that their taste grows more extreme and at one point, they start enjoying gore stuff. There are just so many more harmful sides to porn

If you mean sites I have visited that no acquaintance of mine in real life knows about then those sites would be: a few great pirating sites I use, pirating sites’ indexes, SearXNG Instances, Arena.ai, Brave Search, Duck.ai, Lemmy, Mastodon, HaveIBeenPwned etc.

I do wash my hands since I try to be hygienic. But many people most likely don’t due to laziness

I have tried ReVanced. As far as I know, it’s the best mod of YouTube. If you wanna use YouTube in an app with account and if you also want Dislike count then this is the one to use.

But I prefer using YouTube in-browser and without any accounts, so ReVanced YouTube is not for me but still good choice.

I have tried many YouTube apps too. I have used these previously: LibreTube, ReVanced YouTube, NewPipe, PipePipe, Tubular, GrayJay. But I just liked to use YouTube in-browser most. It’s what I’m most comfortable with and it’s less addicting this way for me.

Sure, there’s a lot of politics on here but definitely not all of Lemmy is about politics… If you dislike politics, I suggest you block Lemmy communities with politics in them if you dislike to that extent… Or you could just not subscribe to any such communities and stick to “Home” or “Subscribed” which will only give you content from communities you’re subscribed with.

Hence, they should ditch social media and do actual socializing too. Even more of a reason to call them up or message them to hang out

• Stock Android • WhatsApp app on my phone ( I have to sadly keep it installed and use it since all people I want to talk with are on it…) • Instagram (For the same reason as I use WhatsApp. Using only web version though and I use it pretty less) • Discord (For the same reason I use WhatsApp and Instagram. Although, I use Aliucord which has NoTrack enabled so basically Discord without the trackers, and I use it pretty less)
