I’ve made several alts over the years and it’s wild to see how badly wreckers fumble on sounding like a leftist.

I used to think I needed to build more credibility before making a post, but it’s not the case at all. If you’re cool and stay consistent in your values, people here are so willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks for being a cool community who bans transphobes, debate lords, and chuds.

The main problem with trolls and wreckers who pop up here is that they have no education, whether its politics in general or this site’s history

So when they start yapping like strawman versions of us, we spot them immediately

When a longer-term Hexbear account has a reactionary meltdown over a specific treat or struggle session, I sometimes wonder if they were some kind of more successful infiltrator that finally lost their patience and couldn’t wear the mask any longer. Sometimes those meltdowns are remarkable, almost like a shapeshifter losing their disguise shape.

If I can pointificate I would say it’s equally likely to just be someone who has a personal experience which gave them a reactionary stance on a specific issue, hence meltdown. Always wild to see a ban on a four year account tho.

I’m glad that HexbearGPT and their “ironic” edgy bullying and veiled bigotry was finally banned. Flew “ironically” too close to the sun at last. sickarus

I think you put it best when you said they were buried under so many layers of irony that they didn’t even know who they were anymore.

I didn’t invent the idea, but I certainly am glad to use this pic. It tends to piss them off because their irony wasn’t automatically congratulated for its detached cleverness, which is what got HexbearGPT banned. im-doing-my-part

Hey you’re the guy everyone would occasionally talk about missing who knows literary stuff and makes people learn it right?

I would be deeply obliged if you convinced even one person to read Mother Night by Kurt Vonnegaut. For reasons directly related to this post.

I just assume 90% of people you perceive as good and well meaning have at least one very random and very bad opinion they feel very strongly about.
