If you haven’t played Alan Wake 2 yet, I highly recommend it. I was expecting only mild narrative involvement with elements from Control, but the FBC is WAY more involved in the story of Alan Wake than I thought.
Cauldron lake is a full on AWE, and you straight up play as Jessie (kind of) in one of the levels in the DLC.
You’ll love it. Saga is yet another wonderful character for a deuteragonist from Remedy, and from the second you start playing as an FBI agent, you’ll be feeling like the FBC will just walk in, any second, to claim jurisdiction.
Do you need to have played the first Alan Wake? I’m currently playing Control and just finished the Awe DLC so I’m wondering. I already looked at a summary of its story to understand the Awe context.
