Create a new sport that you think should be added to the next (or some future) Olympic games.

I’ve heard that the Olympics are currently happening, so I figured why not celebrate this by telling the Olympic committee how dumb they are for passing over your new idea for an Olympic sport!

Rules

  • Follow the community’s rules above all else
  • One comment and image per user
  • Embed image directly in the post (no external link)
  • Workflow/Prompt sharing encouraged (we’re all here for fun and learning)
  • Posts that are tied will both get the points
  • The challenge runs for 7 days from now on
  • Down votes will not be counted

    Prompt (Ideogram)

In a post-apocalyptic future, a decade after nuclear fallout, the Olympic Games are a somber affair. The once-grand Olympic Stadium stands crumbling, now hosting a sparse crowd of survivors. The events themselves are stripped down to the bare essentials, with makeshift equipment and arenas. The competitors, often malnourished, display a grim determination as they push their bodies to the limit, proving their resilience in the face of adversity., photo

    I mean… I’d watch it :)

I try not to share any AI images outside of this community unless someone asks for it. There’s always some Artist who feels the need to point out that bla bla bla, the usual. I don’t mind their point of view, but I just don’t feel like getting dragged into one of those conversations.

But feel free to share or repost if you want.

Prompt: Four athletes at the starting line in a handstand, ready to run on their hands, with race numbers on their shirts, in a stadium., Bing Image Creator

    ChatGPTs comment:

The latest addition to the Olympic Games, the 100m Upside-Down Sprint, is a thrilling and unconventional event where athletes race on their hands, sprinting the full 100 meters with their feet in the air. This demanding discipline combines extreme upper body strength, balance, and speed, offering a unique spectacle for both competitors and spectators. Competitors are required to maintain a handstand throughout the race, propelling themselves forward with remarkable agility and endurance. This new sport pushes the boundaries of human athleticism, capturing the imagination of audiences worldwide.

I’m going old school, no technology. Just… Goldfish Wrangling.

I started with just “Goldfish Wrangling” as the prompt and I liked what it came up with on the first try. A few minor tweaks and I ended up with this.

    Workflow

I used the cool Turkish guy from the Olympic as a control-net image https://sopuli.xyz/post/15435081 (Hard edge, 45%). Surprised that nobody has done-it yet

The prompt is A futuristic cybernetic boy with luminous blue hair, dressed in a iridescent white shirt, [flashy earrings and sick ass tattoos] has a chrome cybernetic arms, holds a sci-fi gun, in a stadium, sci-fi, cyberpunk, tournament

    Model is Reproduction v3.31

My negative prompt is my very standard nsfw, Disfigured, blurry, extra fingers, extra limbs

Note that I struggled to get nice cyber gear, but once I added the sick ass tattoos, suddently it merged with chrome and neon and got that cool result

With some luck, I even got some olympics ring in the background, that’s neat

I see now that this is pretty similar to challenge 27, but oh well.

I really want to make a challenge based on puns or wordplay, but thats just not fair to any community members who aren’t native english speakers.

i wonder if I’m showing my age by the reference in the challenge title lol.
