Ça marcherait peut être ici. A essayer. C’est vrai qu’ils sont zarbi au RN.
I like it, and I especially like that it’s caught on and it’s working.
I’ve been regularly astonished by the fact that anyone’s ever taken Trump seriously, and have been railing against it for years. But my language has been much more loaded, albeit in a different way than “racist” and the like.
I think, and have said repeatedly, that Trump is profoundly mentally ill - that he’s deranged, and not just in a pejorative sense but in a clinical sense.
Of course, that’s a diagnosis I’m not qualified to make, which I’ve long recognized undermines the charge.
Weird though - that’s not a clinical term. It’s just a view to which anyone is fully entitled. And it captures the same idea I’ve been trying to get across for so long, and is funny to boot. And they hate it, which just makes it that much more delicious.
I am very surprised it works. Good surprise too.
I never bought the “he’s a commoner” vibe the fans see in him. It’s been from his start agressive capitalistic practices and cronyism, doubled with a caricature of classroom macho bully. Then he became nuts. Then wtf, he got more power because “common guy”.
Here it is laid out in detail on The Bulwark Podcast.
George Conway lays out chapter verse why he is mentally unsound.
