Keep in mind, at the time of The Noid, there were no smartphones and pagers had barely been overshadowed by flip-phones, while the internet was still a plaything with garish flashy sprites plastered across Geocities, Friendster, Altavista, etc., and NO one had any idea how to reliably ascertain how long a specific store would need to make your specific order on a specific shift and deliver it to a specific location, but all the competition seemed to hate the “less than 30 mins” idea and thus Dominoes ran with it.
