Honestly maths gets easier with letters because there is a lot less maths in it, at least in the traditional sense. Lot harder to make a numerical mistake.

Not the ones I make.
Calculators are still very error prone. It is very easy to press the wrong button or miss a digit without noticing.
You just need better calculator to operate on greek letters like Mathematica
