I’m looking for new mod for c/fediverse that can continue this community so i can leave my baby in good hand. And move always. :3

Reasons of leaving PieFed project

Some of you may have noticed my recent leave and may wonder why.

After some deep toughts, after 1-2 years supporting Piefed project, even if i suffered a lot from melancholia and gave my soul to it, i decided to stop.

It wasn’t an easy decision. I still fell sad, deeply hurt but as much i would like to continue and continue to give my all, for my own well-being i decided to stop and recovers from my sadness.

So, i will no longer do :

  • piefed promotion
  • french translation
  • wiki
  • suggesting idea/collect bug
  • trying to involve people as rikudo (after a ban), travis-jean
  • doing meeting about piefed and presenting its functionalities.

The reason is only between me and Rimu.

But, you know, i really enjoyed supporting this project. It was fun. I have really good memories. Some time it was a tangling boat but we strived and supported each other the best we could. I will cheer those memories.

If you want to respect my feelings, my choices, please don’t talk about it.

If WE catche you doing so, i will simply go to your room, be it matrix, signal, fediverse communities and ask you to stop.

And no, i won’t support Pylova either, i have my own reasons. I’m simply stepping down. I’m taking a break and spend good time with my french fedifriends. We are together since 3 years. 8)

And of course, i will continue to pour my soul on fediverse’s projects. You know that I love that. :3

    I hope that, whatever project you get involved in next, makes you feel good - that’s the only way any of this makes sense. Thank you for your work in this community!

      Thank a lot for those kind words. We will see what project i have in mind. I’m alreudy co-organizing the kittens and translating lot free software content in french sign language.

    Please do whatever you need to in order to become okay. We will miss having as much of your presence, but perhaps after a break you will enjoy your new set of contributions much better. Regardless, you deserve a rest - you’ve done far more than most of us to advance the cause of the Threadiverse.

      Thank i will take a rest. I have several projects. And yes, i will enjoy giving them my all. I will miss it too. :)

      No worry, i will keep them, since you all like it. Maybe the new mod will do the scheduled post. I haven’t replied a lot but i enjoyed reading your comments. :3
