MBARI's Seafloor Mapping Lab deployed its Low-Altitude Survey System aboard R/V David Packard to produce centimeter-scale maps of the Octopus Garden near Davidson Seamount and Tubeworm Slump in Monterey Canyon, advancing understanding of deep-sea biological hotspots and geologic change.
