Several schools across the US are set to install pepper-spraying drones as part of a new effort to respond to school shooting attacks – a Ukraine war-inspired approach that is bound to put off those who would prefer leaders focus on preventing the violence in the first place.
Campus Guardian Angel of Austin, Texas, which describes itself as a response capability company, is providing the drones in question to multiple schools across the country, including at least four schools in Georgia, three in Florida and one in Colorado.
…do you think they play air guitars every time they say their full company name?

Anything… But… addressing… The root of the problem…
That we… need to give the kids guns!
Why not just install emitters around the building and trigger them from cameras directly at the shooter? Drones seem overly complicated to use indoors and easily shot down. Also the shooters will just come in masks once this is known.
The password for the drones will be “password” and a 10th grader will 100% hack these and shoot people with them
I am not saying this isn’t ridiculous but it is worth a try in an emergency.
The problem with pepper spray is it doesn’t incapacitate the attacker directly, so if you are in the immediate vicinity of their body they can still hurt you.
If you are down the hall from the drone that is pepper spraying the attacker that is a much different situation because then they are going to have to navigate the environment to get to you while literally in blind rage/pain… and now you have a chance to get away/lock doors raise the alarm, knock shit down in their path or whatever.
Also I am not saying rely on it as the only option.
Ever spray pepper spray indoors? Everyone is getting it.
