Sombr’s excellent 12 to 12 reeks of Kavinsky and I think of him every time I hear that song. So much so I had to check the production credits when I first heard it.
Same. Outrun was a landmark synthwave album that I absolutely wore out. And then years later he comes out with Reborn and I wore that one out. It was so underappreciated. It really seemlessly merged pop and synthwave. Zenith is one of my favorite songs. This really sucks to hear about.
