A new WHOI study combines seawater chemistry, microbial analysis, and ocean circulation modeling to detect early signs of coral reef stress in the US Virgin Islands. The research, led by the WHOI Schiller Center for Reef Solutions, could pave the way for non-invasive reef health monitoring tools.
