    I’ve been trying the 2.0 alpha client for a bit and, so far, it hasn’t applied any updates in the background yet. But I think it’s supposed to? At least the settings screen makes it sound like it is.

    Anyone have a similar experience?

      I had the same observation, however I “feel” it depends on the app and which android version is targeted vs your Android version as some apps were updated without me noticing.
