Kids leagues should have three levels, all co-ed. Competitive is for parents and kids who play to win. Go get it. Casual is for parents and kids who play for the team building. And finally Recreational is for the kids who just want to play, and the parents who like seeing energy burned. This gives boys and girls who are less competitive a place to play, while preventing anyone from dominating a more relaxed league. I mean, they can try, but it won’t be a big accomplishment.

We should bin most competitive sports and craft novel ones that are less stupid.

Instead of trying to get women and trans peeps playing sports designed for and dominated by men, just make new games that have more inclusive rulesets from the get go.
