      Nope. Portuguese is a Romance langauge, so it’s descended from Latin, like Spanish, French, Italian, Romanian etc. But it has developed a phonology that makes it sound like a Slavic language if you don’t focus on the words being spoken.

      Hungarian is an Ugric language, so there is no (demonstrable) linguistic relationship between Portuguese (or any other Indo-European language) and Hungarian. It’s related to Finnish, Sami and various minority languages spoken in the Urals region in Russia

      I guess you’re thinking about basque, a language spoken in an area crossing south west France and north east Spain, that has similarities with hungarian
