I think most in the UK are escapees from duck farms and collections and they just spread from there
Ohhh those are geese in English. I have always considered them dukes but according to wikipédia they are ouettes neither ducks nor geese. They are egyptian ouettes and considered invasive to France. At leass they are beautiful birds.
